Extra Life Detroit gamers play for ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Children’s. Participants fundraise year-round, from weekend tournaments to gaming marathons. Since 2010, Extra Lifers have raised over $700,000 to help transform children’s lives with personalized
medical care at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Children’s. By participating in Extra Life, or making a gift to a participant, you are helping change kids’ health in Southeast Michigan.

Game Day
November 4, 2023: Extra Lifers pledge to play games and spread awareness for kids being treated at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Children’s on Game Day. Gamers can also create their own game day or days, throughout the year.
What do I do on Game Day?
It’s totally up to you! You can game from the comfort of your own couch, at your friend’s house, at a rec center—anywhere is fair game (Pun intended. Eyerolls permitted)! Lots of Extra Lifers organize big group events for the occasion and just as many pull out the sweatpants and snacks for a chill day at home. It’s your fundraiser—do it your way!
